HABITAT:

They are found in all oceans, migrating to the north in summer and to equator for breeding in winter.

 

DESCRIPTION:

The average length of the Humpback Whale is 17 m. The largest Humpback Whale in the world is 21 m in length. The color of the Humpback Whale is black, gray and white. The food that it eats is fish and crustaceans.

THREATS:

Extensive hunting until the 1970's. Now the threats are fishing nets which entangle them, either drowning them or preventing them from feeding. They then starve to death.
