HABITAT:
Coastlines of Northern Europe.
DESCRIPTION:
Europe's' largest eagle with a 2 m. wingspan. Their nearest relatives are probably
some type of vultures. Their bills are longer and heavier than those of the
golden eagles, and (in adults) are bright yellow rather than gray, and their
lower legs are not feathered
THREATS:
Loss of habitat, shot by farmers who mistakenly think that they will attack their livestock, and accidentally poisoned by fox baits.
